Um den Missionsbau etwas zu vereinheitlichen und einen gewissen Standard in den Missionen aufzubauen, gibt es für bestimmte Module Vorgaben, die eingehalten werden müssen. Die Angaben zu den Einstellungen der hier erwähnten Module sind - außer ausdrücklich anders erwähnt - verpflichtend. Ihr seid selbstverständlich nicht auf die hier aufgelisteten Module beschränkt, diese Liste gibt lediglich für bestimmte Module - solltet ihr sie verwenden - einige Einstellungen vor. Aber alles wird nicht per Module gemacht. Um Einstellungen wie zum Beispiel an ACE zu tätigen muss man die CBA-Settings verändern. Auch hier gibt es, wie bei den zu setzenden Modulen Vorgaben. Einige davon können vom Missionsbauer überschrieben werden, andere wiederum nicht. Für Missionsbauer ist wichtig, dass bei abweichenden Einstellungen diese im Briefing erwähnt werden.

Erforderlich

Folgende Module müssen in der Mission zwingend vorhanden sein.

Headless Client

Logic Entities - Virtual Entities - Headless Client

  • Variable Name: hc1
  • System - Control: Playable

Sonst kann 1 Spieler weniger dem Server beitreten, da auf den Server automatisch ein Headless Client (HC) sozusagen mitspielt. Um diesen aber wirklich zu nutzen muss man mehr machen und beachten.

Game Master / Zeus

Der Zeus muss auf unser gesamtes Modpacket Zugriff haben, sonst kann er nur Vanilla-Einheiten platzieren und gängige Hilfswerkzeuge fehlen.

Anmerkung: Seit dem Laws of War DLC ist der Admin-Zeus nötig, da der Mod, der diesen überflüssig macht, zurzeit Fehler verursacht (keine Debug-Console).

Serverseitig gesetzt

Nachfolgende Einstellungen werden serverseitig automatisch gesetzt. Diese können zum Teil vom Client in den Einstellungen -> Addon Options oder vom Missionsbauer per cba_settings.sqf abgeändert werden. Einträge mit einem force überschreiben die Einstellungen des Clients, können aber vom Missionsbauer überschrieben werden. Einträge mit einem force force können weder vom Client noch dem Missionsbauer geändert werden. Einträge ohne force/force force können vom Client und Missionsbauer überschrieben werden.
